Curriculum
I am Director of the Second Orthopaedic Department at the ASST Gaetano Pini–CTO Hospital in Milan, Italy, where I am actively involved in both clinical practice and orthopaedic surgery.
I am Associate Professor of Orthopaedics and Traumatology at the University of Milan.
I also serve as Secretary General of the European Society of Sports Traumatology, Knee Surgery and Arthroscopy (ESSKA).
My clinical practice focuses on the diagnosis and surgical treatment of disorders affecting the knee, shoulder and hip, as well as the management of musculoskeletal trauma involving all major joints.
As primary surgeon, I have performed more than 2,500 joint replacement and minimally invasive arthroscopic procedures.
I am the author of more than 100 peer-reviewed scientific publications indexed in major international databases.
I have been awarded four prestigious international fellowships and completed an advanced clinical training fellowship at Stanford University Medical Center (USA) in October 2015.
